Wisconsin Cervid Farmers’ Foundation (W.C.F.F.), which is the educational arm of Whitetails of Wisconsin (W.O.W.), announced at their W.O.W. Annual Spring Meeting held at The Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin March 14, 2026 that a $750 scholarship was awarded to Breyton Sauls. According to W.C.F.F., Breyton is one of four winners selected this year. The applicant is a child of Ryan and Chandra Sauls, W.O.W. members since 2024.
Breyton attended Norris City Omaha Enfield High School and will be studying Veterinary Medicine at Southeastern Illinois College. The home farm is where he gained first work experience with early morning livestock feedings and after school pen checks. Behind his success included FFA, the Kindness Club, Math & Science Club, Red Army and serving as manager of the Boys’ Basketball team, recording and organizing supplies for multiple years. Breyton works at Flatland Whitetails and is a member of the Centerville Ripsnorters. Community projects include planting flowers around Norris City, making Christmas cards for children and picking up trash at the McLeansboro Fall Festival. Breyton believes that animal medicine offers him a chance to give back to rural communities that he would enjoy. Breyton’s goal is to have a vet clinic and mobile clinic.
