New Haven Archer Joins SIC Falcons

New Haven native Matthew Emmerson signed his intent to compete with the Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Archers for the 2021-22 season. Emmerson was an active FFA member at Gallatin County High School and is currently enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program at SIC. [Read more...]

SIC Falcons Archers Welcome Carmi’s Howard

Josh Howard of Carmi has committed to competing with the Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Archers for the 2021-22 season.
Howard is a member of the Illinois National Guard and just completed basic training at Ft. Sill in Oklahoma. After SIC, he plans to transfer to SIU-Carbondale to complete a major in kinesiology. After graduation, he plans to apply for the Illinois State Police. [Read more...]

NCOE Archers Compete at Saline County Regional Event

The NCOE archery team participated in a Regional event hosted by Saline County Archery on January 4, 2020 at the SIC Indoor Range in Harrisburg. Nine teams were represented with 48 shooters.

NCOE team results were as follows:

Elementary Male Open
Tate Bickett 148 20x 1st

Middle School Male Pins
Wyatt Ellison 116 2x

High School Female Open
Zeppelyn Fiala 148 18x 1st
Haley Lange 145 12x 2nd

Norris City Girl Shoots Perfect Score in Albion Archery Qualifier

The Edwards County Archery Regional Qualifier in Albion on December 28 saw an attendance of 46 shooters representing seven teams from the area.

Results  from the Elementary Male Open showed Tate Bickett 145 11x (3rd place) and Zane Fiala with 126 8x

Middle School Male Fixed Pins- Wyatt Ellison 95 1x

The High School Female Open saw Jerzi Sharp shoot a perfect 150 19x (1st place) and Jalyn Sharp place second with 149 21x (2nd place) and Zeppelyn Fiala  shoot 145 9x.

SIC ARCHERY TEAM TO COMPETE AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

HARRISBURG, Ill. (Sept. 20, 2019) – The Southeastern Illinois College Archery team will be traveling to Foley, Alabama, to compete at the U.S. National Collegiate 3-D Championships Oct. 4-6. The archery team consists of 16 team members and five guest shooters this fall.

NCOE Archery teams take top honors in state competition

The Illinois S3DA held their state tournament on July 6, 2019 at Sahara Woods State Park near Carriere Mills, Il. There were 15 clubs/teams participating that traveled from all over the state to compete in the one day event.

The event started with an opening prayer by Pastor Chris Marsh of Ditney Ridge Baptist Church of Norris City and singing the National Anthem.
