A man wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear on an aggravated battery charge in Hamilton County was found yesterday to be residing in Enfield. Sheriff’s Deputies Weiss and Lucas informed Jarred Wade Bolin, age 35 of Enfield of the warrant which he said he was aware of. Bolin was handcuffed and taken to White County Jail where he posted bond and released.

A White County warrant for Aggravated Assault was served yesterday on Jordan L. Prater, 28 of Carmi, when Sheriff’s Deputy Lucas saw him standing in his yard at 407 Shumaker St. The officer beckoned Prater to speak with him by the squad car, moving him away from children in the yard. Officer Lucas advised Prater of the warrant, placed him in handcuffs without incident, and transported him to the White County Jail.
A report of a disabled truck on CR 1700 N. at 650 E. was received by the White County Dispatch on the evening of April 6. The caller said the driver was revving the engine in a loud manner outside his residence. [Read more...]
On Thursday evening, White County Sheriff’s Deputy Lucas was on patrol in Crossville when he saw Robert Steven McGill, 39 of Crossville, standing in front of a house at 410 Fourth St. After checking with Dispatch, Officer Lucas ascertained there was an active warrant for McGill’s arrest and approached the home, where he could hear arguing coming from the garage. The White County Sheriff’s department received a report yesterday evening of a male in a white truck sitting in the caller’s driveway at 814 County Rd. 400 E, Norris City. The dispatcher told the officer that the driver had just struck a vehicle and drove through the caller’s yard. The driver then headed north on County Rd. 400 E. The caller managed to get the the license number of the suspect vehicle which belonged to Jason L. Cannon, 41, from Norris City. [Read more...]
