The Carmi-White County CUSD #5 school board on Monday night gave its approval to receive a $421,745.00 donation from the Absher Foundation. Superintendent Jarrod Newell said the donation would be used to fund curriculum, vocational programming, fine arts, technology, security, and student sports. He thanked the Foundation for their generosity.
