WHITE COUNTY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE OF NOMINATIONS

To all persons of legal voting age who own or reside on land located within the boundaries of the White County Soil and Water Conservation District. Nominations are being accepted for the two year term of the office of Director of the White County Soil and Water Conservation District at the District's Office at 1105 West Main Street in Carmi, Illinois, during our normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To be considered for nomination as a candidate for the office of Director, nominees must provide proof of residency or ownership of land located within the boundaries of the district. Interested persons must respond by 4:30p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021.

Invitation to Bid

The White County Housing Authority will receive bids for Painting services in Norris City, Crossville and Grayville; bids must be quoted with Unit size rate. Prepare surface for painting via washing, scraping, sanding, etc. as well as plastering holes and cracks if needed. Paint must be Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Scuff-X Interior Eggshell Finish. Certificate of insurance is required, insurance coverage must include General Liability, and Workers Compensation. The White county Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Deliver or Mail bids to White County Housing Authority, 500 4th St., P O Box 277, crossville IL. Any questions call Leigh Short at 618-966-3868. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. March 11, 2020.
