On January 5, 2026, the following sentences occurred in the White County Circuit Court:
Melvin Lewis was sentenced to 11 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He was sentenced to six years IDOC in case 24CF182 for the offense of Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer, a class 2 felony.
