The Mill Shoals board at this month's meeting, had discussion about hiring a summer worker and what jobs they could do for the Village. WADI has a summer work program available and the Village is looking to find someone between the ages of 16 and 24 who might be interested in working this summer.
Members of the Skillett Fork Ruritans Club have contacted board members about having an Easter egg hunt on the old grade school property on March 21st. The Board unanimously agreed to the idea, but the former Community Center (school building) would remain unavailable due to plumbing issues. Port-O-Potty’s will be brought in for public restrooms at no expense to the Village. Given that the event is for children, non-profit, and not using the Community Center, the board waived any daily rental fees.
