On May 5, 2026, a presentation was given in DuQuoin, Illinois at the Beaucoup Creek Chapter NSDAR to promote volunteer activities at the Marion, IL VA Medical Center. Examples were shared of past, current and future planned volunteer activities.
Volunteering is highly rewarding and provides significant physical and mental health benefits. It offers a sense of purpose and fulfillment and delivers essential services to those in need.
