Responding to Carmi Township Supervisor Pam Deig's February statement regarding the process of choosing a candidate to fill the recent board vacancy, White County GOP secretary and precinct committeewoman Chula Fleming last night questioned the Carmi Township board at their monthly meeting saying that it appeared to her that no one seriously considered her resume that she presented to the board this past fall as a candidate for the vacant Township board seat. The board seat had been vacated by Micheal Baxley in September of last year and the board had 60 days to fill it.
