A large number of residents turned out last night t0 the White County board meeting in support of changes to how the county manages the dog pound. The dog pound is divided into two areas, the city of Carmi is on one side and the County is responsible for the other side.
First up to speak regarding the issue was JC Tinsley, the secretary for Pets at Risk, a non-profit animal rescue service in Carmi. Tinsley criticized board member Ken Usery's remarks made at last month’s board meeting.
