A special meeting of the Mill Shoals board was held on May 13 to discuss the status of the Village's grant applications with a possible vote to move forward. All trustees were in attendance, along with President Tim Isaacs.
Morgan Dogged with the Adeline Development Group explained the status of the outdated water system and the likelihood that the Village was on borrowed time before the water system failed. Doggett spoke about the features of the newly proposed water system, the software it would use, the mapping that would be created, the engineering involved, and the training the Village Water Superintendent will receive. She explained the water line installation included 4.72 linear miles of pipe.
