The Indian Creek Township meeting on Wednesday began with the approval of February's board minutes and no public comments.
- Road Commissioner David Wheeler reported on equipment repairs and road clearing.
- Supervisor Marsh announced budget preparation meetings for March 23-24, 2026, and the annual town meeting on April 14, 2026.
- The board approved the fund balance summary, pre-approved bills, and supervisor's debits.
- They discussed the purchase of a $2,000 bulletproof window and a $500 donation to NCOE High School. These will be paid after April 1 when the new budget is in effect.
The Supervisor went on to give an update on health insurance changes for road district employees and the IMRF audit, making the following statement:
“At the July 21, 2021 township meeting, a motion was made and approved to provide monthly health insurance reimbursement in the amount of $292.50 to the following road district employees. And at that time it was Jeremy McKenzie, Jimmy Hoskins and David Wheeler. And the motion carried with all in favor. Since that time, the cost of health insurance has increased and there have been changes in the road district personnel. The current full time road district employees eligible for this benefit are James Hoskins and Douglas Sexton.
