The Enfield Village board voted on Tuesday night to amend their liquor license ordinance to allow Sunday sales of alcohol from 2:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. beginning July 1 for all classes of licenses issued in the Village. Attorney Jonathan Turpin told the board he would remove the old language barring sales on Sunday and insert the new language to allow it, with the accompanying details. The board also reviewed the liquor license fees, currently set to be paid quarterly, and approved a separate ordinance to give retailers a 30% discount if they paid the fee license for the entire year. That amounts to a $300.00 savings on a $1000 license fee.
