Sheila Albright, VA Volunteer services representative, and Jeanne Bierman, District VII Director of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR)

On 5/28/26 Sheila Albright, Michael Hillegas Chapter of the DAR, received an award at the District 7 spring meeting for exceptional fundraising for veterans. Albright did an excellent job for the year 2025 for area veterans, logging over 300 hours of volunteer service and was given an award by the VA for those hours.
Under her leadership, she and her volunteers have collected money, goods, personal care products and many other items, in value around $4000 worth from District VII and a little over $4000 more from churches, businesses and other organizations.
