Veronica S. Fry, 47 of Enfield, was arrested last Wednesday, May 10, in Enfield for Driving While License Suspended, Operating Uninsured Vehicle, and Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration. Sheriff’s Deputy Matt Wicker was the arresting officer.
Emily Nelson of Crossville reported last Thursday that her wallet had been stolen from her car sometime between 2 p.m. on May 10 and 7:30 a.m. on May 11. Sgt. Craig Poole took the report.
Devin Ray Ward, 33 of Crossville, was arrested May 14 in the late evening after a report to the Sheriff's department of a male walking around a lot in Crossville with a flashlight was then followed by a report of a domestic disturbance. Ward was wanted on a Failure to Appear Warrant out of White County. Shaina Ward declined to sign a complaint saying that Devin did not touch here. He was arrested and taken to White County Jail.
Amber M. Walkenbach, 38 of Carmi, was arrested on Monday after Deputy Michael Brown did a warrant check at the residence of Devin Phipps on 1600 N. Carmi. Deputy Brown was assisted in the arrest by Sgt. Craig Poole, while Walkenbach swore and yelled at the officers. She was taken to the White County Jail and were met by EMS when it was reported she was having an anxiety attack. Walkenbach was cleared and released into the custody of correctional officers
