Two individuals were sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections on Monday. James L. Parker, 25 of Carmi was sentenced on Burglary, a class 2 felony, receiving five years DOC and one year MSR. He was also sentenced for Possession of Stolen Vehicle, a class 2 felony, receiving five years DOC and one year MSR. Parker was also sentenced for another charge of Possession of Stolen Vehicle, a class 2 felony. He received another five years in the DOC and one year MSR. One stolen vehicle was a four-wheeler and the other was a Jeep Cherokee.
