An agenda item for the upcoming Indian Creek Town meeting was turned back last night at a special meeting as the Indian Creek Township board met for discussion and a second vote on a proposition that they had previously voted in favor of at the March board meeting. At that meeting, the board voted three to one, with Jeromy Johnson voting no, to add the proposition to the Town meeting agenda. If passed at the Town meeting, Indian Creek Township voters would be asked on the 2024 general election ballot if they were in favor of abolishing the road district and put the roads under different management.
