The Norris City Library Gardeners are planning a field trip! They will be carpooling to visit Jamie Rilea and to tour Loofah Farms. Jaime established Loofah Farms in 2016. She has set out to combine her love of the land and loofah with massage therapy services that she has been practicing since she received her license in 1999. Jamie offers massage therapy and spa services to rejuvenate your body and soul. Many of you will remember Jamie, last fall she gave a presentation on growing Loofah plants and their many uses. If you are interesting in attending the field trip, join the Library Gardeners in the library parking lot on Saturday, September 30th at 1:00 p.m.
September is National Library Card Sign-up Month so now is the perfect time to sign-up for a library card! To celebrate, the Norris City Library is waiving any fines or fees associated with overdue library materials. Do you have a book that you forgot to bring it back and it is long overdue? No problem, just return it in good condition to the Norris City Library during the month of September and all your fees will be forgiven.
