Join the Norris City Library Gardeners on Tuesday, August 29th at 5:00 p.m. for Gene Forster’s presentation on Winter Gardens. An increasing number of gardeners are growing crops nearly all year long! Vegetables can be categorized into two categories; warm-season and cool-season crops. Cool-season crops like broccoli, peas, and carrots are not just for the early spring. Indeed these crops thrive in the autumn. Sometimes with a little extra protection, you can extend these crops into the winter months. Gene will teach us about the frost resist vegetables that thrive in our zone. Milly and Gene always put on a great program. Hope to see you there!
