White County Treasurer Micheal Baxley reported that the county’s tax bills were being mailed out today, September 14. The county board meeting was held this morning after a building committee meeting at 8:30 a.m. Baxley also reported the county had a current cash position of $10,590,817. Expenses for the month of August were $2,666.00 and revenues were $1,323.00. The General Fund held $1,763,406.10 and the ARPA fund balance was reported at $296,501.00. The county holds debt of $121,773.12 for the ambulance service and $49,545 for the new government financial software that was purchased.
