Twelve candidates competing to be on the November general election ballot came to Carmi on Friday night. The White County Republicans hosted a chili supper and invited candidates to attend. The primary elections are set for March 17. Early voting is ongoing at the courthouse.

Meet the Republican primary candidates at a chili and soup supper hosted by White County Republicans. Local, state, congress and U.S. Senate, and judicial candidates will be on hand to meet local voters. Chili and soup will be served from 5-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020, with candidates to begin speaking at 6:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the door for the chili/soup supper.
