Josh Howard of Carmi has committed to competing with the Southeastern Illinois College Falcon Archers for the 2021-22 season.
Howard is a member of the Illinois National Guard and just completed basic training at Ft. Sill in Oklahoma. After SIC, he plans to transfer to SIU-Carbondale to complete a major in kinesiology. After graduation, he plans to apply for the Illinois State Police. [Read more...]

NCOE Senior Sean Neal signed with Lindsey Wilson College of Columbia, Kentucky on Friday. Sean is the son of Byron and Tabitha Neal of Omaha. Sean has been shooting in Archery competition since 8th grade. He placed 12th in the Indoor National in 2019.

The NCOE archery team participated in a Regional event hosted by Saline County Archery on January 4, 2020 at the SIC Indoor Range in Harrisburg. Nine teams were represented with 48 shooters.

The Edwards County Archery Regional Qualifier in Albion on December 28 saw an attendance of 46 shooters representing seven teams from the area.
Results from the Elementary Male Open showed Tate Bickett 145 11x (3rd place) and Zane Fiala with 126 8x

The High School Female Open saw Jerzi Sharp shoot a perfect 150 19x (1st place) and Jalyn Sharp place second with 149 21x (2nd place) and Zeppelyn Fiala shoot 145 9x.
HARRISBURG, Ill. (Sept. 20, 2019) – The Southeastern Illinois College Archery team will be traveling to Foley, Alabama, to compete at the U.S. National Collegiate 3-D Championships Oct. 4-6. The archery team consists of 16 team members and five guest shooters this fall.
HARRISBURG, Ill. (Sept. 13, 2019) – The 2019 USA Archery Collegiate 3D North Regional Championship will take place September 28-29 on Southeastern Illinois College’s campus at the Archery Center.
This is the first year that SIC has hosted this two-day tournament through USA Archery. USA Archery and SIC inked a two-year agreement for SIC to be the host college for the 3D North Regional. USA Archery is the governing body of collegiate archery.
Varsity squads from major Division I colleges and universities across the region have been invited to attend the weekend, with competition beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday and again at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The public is invited to participate in the tournament as spectators.
In its first seven years of competition, SIC’s archery team has collected 16 divisional national championships and two high overall average national championships, while crowning 20 All-Americans and four Academic All-Americans.
