On Monday 06-14-2021, at 2:40 p.m., the White County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call of a male subject walking on 2400 N. at 2011 E., which is south of Grayville, IL. The male was reported to be in his 30s to 40s. The male, later identified as Ronald Jolley, was yelling for help and bleeding as he walked on 2400 N. Jolley told the caller he had been shot. The caller placed Jolley in his vehicle to render aid. Jolley located his fiance nearby and got into her vehicle. The caller advised White County Dispatch the male was driving south on Rte. 1, headed towards Carmi.
