Laura Beth Rister went to her heavenly home on Friday, August 11, 2023. She was born on June 15, 1926, in Norris City, IL, the daughter of Vollie and Jessie Newkirk.
Laura Beth was a graduate of Norris City High School, class of ‘44. She was a member of the United Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Norris City. Her church family meant everything to her and she so appreciated all the visits and cards. She was the Administrator of the Enfield Nursing Home and worked in the healthcare industry most of her life.
