Sheriff’s Deputy Trey Simmons initiated a traffic stop early yesterday morning in Crossville after he observed a silver Nissan run the stop sign at the intersection of Cross and Main Streets. The driver of the vehicle did not stop immediately and picked up speed, but did finally come to a complete stop on S. Cross St. just north of Blackout Bait and Tackle.
