At last month's meeting, Enfield Mayor Tom Harbour walked out of closed session after an allegation of unauthorized spending was made against him. Trustee Maurie Black was appointed Mayor pro tem at the time. Harbour tendered his resignation as mayor the next day. The board was notified of his resignation. Maurie Black will serve as the Mayor of Enfield until the election in Spring 2023. Mayor Harbour served the Village of Enfield in that position for more than 20 years.--Editor
