The minutes of the April meeting were approved by the current board, after which that meeting was adjourned and the May meeting re-convened to seat the new and returning members of the board following last month's Consolidated election.
Re-elected trustees, one newly elected trustee, and the elected Mayor were seated by Clerk Debbie Stone. Jim Bolin, Terry Harrison and Clinton Willis returned to their seats for four-year terms as trustees. Maurie Black was elected to a two-year unexpired term and Billy Bob Merrick was elected to a two-year unexpired term for trustee.
