“May Light always surround you; Hope kindle and rebound you. May your Hurts turn to Healing; Your Heart embrace Feeling. May Wounds become Wisdom; Every Kindness a Prism. May Laughter infect you; Your Passion resurrect you. May Goodness inspire your Deepest Desires. Through all that you Reach For, May your arms Never Tire.” ― D. Simone
“Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.” - Calvin Coolidge.
It’s “Christmas at the Library” this Thursday, December 12, and we would love for you to join us! Santa will be at the library at 5:30 p.m., Millie Pate will be here from the Library Gardeners, and the Peyton Sisters will perform a holiday concert at 6:00 p.m. There will be children’s crafts, door prizes, information on the seed library, music and more. Come spread some joy at the library!
December is going to be a very busy month at the library! We have many wonderful programs planned. Stop in and share in a bit of Christmas cheer.
