Moving to 2-1 on the season was not a difficult task for the Carmi-White County Bulldogs, for they racked up 468 total offensive yards on their home turf compared to just 252 by their opponent, the Edwards County Lions. The Bulldogs struck first early in the first quarter when Colton Yates galloped 13 yards into the end zone a topped off by a Bryce Northcott run to give C-WC the 7-0 advantage. The Bulldogs would then add seven more to this lead when William Pugsley would connect with Northcott for a 26-yard catch followed by a Wyatt Weinbrecht to stretch their lead to 14-0 as the first quarter was winding down. This 14-point lead quickly diminished when Eli Grimes would scamper 81 yards on the kick off to put the Lions on the board but a failed kick would keep the Bulldogs in the lead by 10. Second quarter action was all Carmi-White County as Pugsley would once again connect with Northcott for the 27 yard touchdown conversion followed by a 2-point conversion from a Yates run. In less than three minutes the Bulldogs would strike again with a 48 yard run by Colton Yates to stretch the Bulldog lead to 30-6. At this point, the Lions would finally be able to get back into their offense to strike for 6 points along with the 2-point catch conversion to narrow the lead to 30-14 at the :38 mark. This, however, was enough time for C-WC as they would manage to post 16 points on the board in this stint of time behind a Bryce Northcott touchdown run followed by a Wyatt Weinbrecht 2-point conversion along with a 20-yard touchdown completion to Tyler Thompson from Pugsley followed by a Colton Yates run to sent the Bulldogs to the locker room with a comfortable 46-14 point lead.
Second half action was far from that of the first half as both teams combined would only manage a mere 13 total points. Six of those points coming for the Bulldogs in the third quarter behind a 13-yard Colton Yates run to push the C-WC advantage to 52-14. Edwards County would finally manage to find the end zone late in the fourth quarter via a Cade Schnicker 9-yard run followed by the extra point attempt of Silas Hortin to push the Edwards County score to 21. With time expiring, the Bulldogs were able to keep the Lions at bay to march on to the 52-21 win.
