A representative of KEB gave an audit report to the Indian Creek Township board on Wednesday, stating the township had not had one for several years. IL statute required it this year because of the change of township supervisor. She gave the audit an unmodified or clean opinion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, the highest one they can give. The representative stated she was given full access to the Quickbooks records and bank statements with a few minor exceptions, She said she had to make several adjustments to get balances to where they needed to be. The auditing company has been doing the township’s financial report every year that goes to the state.
