Voting and voting machines have received much scrutiny in the last couple of years as the 2020 election process continues to be questioned by many citizens in the country. White County recently replaced all of their voting machines, having used them for 10-12 years. The new machines cost $254,000, but funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) funds was allocated to pay for them
