September 7 - Norris City man reports fraud
John Pearce of Norris City recently filed a fraud report with the Sheriff’s office. Pearce told White County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Craig Poole that he had been the victim of a scam over the weekend. On Friday, September 2, Pearce said he went to get on his computer and a message from Microsoft popped up saying to call a certain number, which he did.
