Ed Oliver of Norris City and Patrick Haskell of Carmi, both representing the Sons of the American Revolution, Long Knives Chapter from Marion, Ill. presented a certificate to the Village last night for patriotism. The certificate recognizes the patriotism demonstrated by the town of Norris City during the Sesquicentennial parade held in October 2021 at the Village’s celebration event.
