Jesus was an innocent man who was sentenced to death for sins He didn't commit, and yet He laid His life down willingly. The day before He died, he wrestled with it and asked God if there was a Plan B, or maybe Plan C ...... anything other than face the torment, scorn, shame, crucifixion and bearing the weight of sin from all of mankind. But He laid it down in obedience, and it impacted all of mankind.
What do you need to lay down at the moment? What is God asking of you that's causing you to wrestle with Him? Sometimes He has no Plan B, because it's Plan A all the way. It's personal, so be obedient in it and do what needs to be done.
The example here is that we put His plan first - no matter what, and "Nevertheless, not my will, but yours be done" should be our mindset. Obedience isn't easy, but we're shown that it can be done.
Now, go do what you need to do, because your act of obedience is likely to have a significant impact on others. Get at it......
