It's been said that a rising tide lifts all boats, and I believe now is the time for the tide to rise - with you being the tide......
When the world is unsettled as it is now, we can truly be God's light. With the corona virus being all the talk 24/7, people's hearts are gripped with panic, fear and the "what-ifs" of life, but during this time, we can have God's peace and be a source of comfort and hope. But first, you have to rise up to let God use you. We have to rise up and reach out to those seeing nothing but darkness so they can see the light. Not just any light, but God's light.
Isaiah 60:1-3 says "Arise, my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you. 2 Darkness as black as night shall cover all the peoples of the earth, but the glory of the Lord will shine from you. 3 All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see the glory of the Lord upon you."
I don't know what's ahead, and I won't pretend to. All I know is that God's got this, and He has us in His hand. No matter what's going on around us, He's bigger than the thing that's going on. Don't feel insignificant because a small light can be seen at long distances in the darkness, and multiple lights coming together can really split the darkness. You can either sit on your butt and be a spectator of what God can do, or you can rise up, reach out, and be a participant in His plan. It's dark outside, but let's arise and let God's glory shine..... through us.
"Arise my people...... "
