The Omaha Village board held a short meeting on Monday, October 11, where they signed off on paying the village insurance, making their USDA payment of $6991.25, approving a Park and Rec withdrawal of $350.00 for the fall festival/Halloween party and a $150 request to pay for the firemen appreciation dinner. Clarence Wayne Whipple, 84, of Omaha, Illinois, passed away at his home on Friday, October 8, 2021. Wayne was born on November 26, 1936 in Omaha, one of six children of the late Rufus and Doris (Switzer) Whipple. He married Judy Vickers on June 4th of 1960.
