Carmi Rotary Club meeting

At Thursday’s meeting of the Carmi Rotary club , Rotarian Don Drone gave a brief account of his recent trip to Lake Tahoe, California. He and his family made the trip to attend a wedding on the shore of the beautiful lake. Don commented that the weather was gorgeous, except for the orange haze the first few days, that had been generated by fires in and around the mountains of California. He told the club that Lake Tahoe has an elevation of around 6,000ft, and at times that elevation caused a little problem with breathing and getting around.
