The County board meeting on Wednesday concluded with an announcement that the search for a replacement for Cassie Pigg's seat remains open. Terry Gholson was on the agenda to be possibly seated to fill the vacancy, but it was announced that he had withdrawn his name from consideration.
It was also reported that the state has updated legislation in order to protect delinquent taxpayers' equity.
