A short discussion of water rate increases resulted in tabling a decision on the topic at last week’s Omaha Village board meeting. Omaha’s water provider instituted a 15% increase in rates to the Village in May, but the Village has since been absorbing the extra amount. An increase to water customers is expected, although not a full 15%.
