The Omaha Village Board voted on Monday night Sept. 13, to pass on the 15% water rate increase to customers. They had originally considered not raising customers' bills that much. Citing the fact that the town has already been paying the increase since May and carrying a number of delinquent water bills, the new rates will show up on bills in late October.
