The USDA is currently poised to submit the Village’s water infrastructure rebuild project for approval after October 1, it was reported at the Mill Shoals September 8th meeting. Four of the six trustees were in attendance while Cara and Liz were absent. President Isaacs and Clerk Heath Tullis were also in attendance.
Paying off or paying down old water bonds was also under consideration at this meeting as the board believes it would be better to do that before taking on new debt. The board would like to hear from Treasurer Murphy on the issue.
