Joshua A. Bell, 42 of McLeansboro was sentenced in White County court on Monday on a charge of Aggravated Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police Officer, a class 4 felony. He was given a sentence of five years in the Department of Corrections (DOC) and one year Mandatory Supervised Release (MSR). He was also sentenced on a charge of Driving While License Revoked (4-9), a class 4 felony. He was given the same sentence of five years in DOC and one year MSR.
Bell was arrested by the Carmi Police Department on March 19, 2021. He was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Judge Thomas Dunn was the presiding judge.
