Lindell Ray “Butch” Golden. 69, of Norris City, passed away at 5:05 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born in Norris City on February 13, 1950 the son of Henry and Anna (Lynch) Golden. Butch married Annella Sue Gray on July 8, 1978. He owned and operated Golden Brothers Farms along side his brother, James. Butch was a member of Union Ridge Presbyterian Church and the White County Farm Bureau. He was an extremely generous and kind hearted person who was always willing to stop and help a neighbor or stranger in anyway he could. His greatest joys in life were his family, his grandchildren, the farm and his Corgi’s.
Butch is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sue; son, Chris (Heather) Millhorn, of Indianapolis, IN; daughter, Bethany (Kyle) Hoskins, of Norris City; brother, James Henry (Peggy) Golden, of Norris City; three sisters, Emma Jane (Barry) Rynkiewich, Mary Linda (Tom) Suttner and Ruth Ann (Welver) Starks, all of Norris City; five grandchildren. Abbie and Merick Millhorn, Ella, Sophia and Brantley Hoskins and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Erica Jane Golden.
Funeral services for Lindell Ray “Butch” Golden, 69, of Norris City, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Memorial contributions may be made in Butch’s memory to Pets at Risk and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
