The White County Community Education Association is having a Salad Luncheon and Vendor Fair on May 18 as the main fundraiser that will be used for community activities throughout the coming year, such as helping with 4-H, the White County Relay for Life, nursing homes, treats for first responders and veterans. These are just a few of our community activities.
The Salad Luncheon and Vendor Fair will be at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 203 Edgewood Lane, in Carmi on Saturday, May 18. The doors open at 10 a.m. and lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The vendor Fair will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from any H.C.E. member or at the door. A Gift Basket Raffle will be held and tickets are available and will be given out after the luncheon. There will also be door prizes.
HCE is looking for vendors to set up a table at the event. The cost for a table will be $10. If you would like to set up a table, or need information about vendor space or the luncheon, call Ruth Norris at 378-3891.
