On December 31, Deputy Randy Graves spoke to Jeffrey Scates regarding criminal damage to his property. Scates stated that grain bins owned by Pat Scates and Son Farms were damaged sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day when someone entered the property located at Route 141 and Herald Road.
The damage was done by a semi. Someone hit the grain spout on the small ground hopper grain bin. The grain spout was damaged, along with approximately 4000 bushels of soybeans that got wet.
