Questions are still swirling on social media regarding the new law firm hired by the City of Carmi. Those questions come mostly through the agent of Landon 'Rudy" Rudolph but others are also involved in the conversation. Carmi citizens have not seen an agenda where the public was notified of the hiring or its cost, nor has any city council vote to expend funds for legal representation happened in the public's view. An email sent to Mr. Rudolph last week said the firm was hired to handle FOIA and ADA issues, but the hiring contract reveals more.
