EHD Announces New Vaccine Opportunities This Week

Please see the announcement below for COVID -19 Vaccination Appointments in our region- Please note: these opportunities are in Carbondale/Jackson County but ANY Illinois resident in Phase 1A or Phase 1B are eligible!

COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Available! Jackson County is partnering with the State of Illinois and Illinois National Guard to expand vaccination opportunities.

Who Can Make an Appointment: Any Illinois resident who is eligible under Phase 1a or Phase 1b of the State vaccination plan, including anyone age 65 and older. The phases are detailed in the State Mass Vaccination Plan at https://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccination-plan. Ineligible persons will be turned away at the clinic. Note: the expanded Phase 1b, which includes those ages 18-64 with certain underlying medical conditions, does not begin until February 25; those eligible under the expansion should not schedule an appointment before that date.

Another COVID-19 Vaccine Opportunity for our region!! Any SIH patient in Phase 1A or Phase 1B is eligible to receive the vaccine TOMORROW 2/20/2021 at the SIH training center (just outside of Carbondale) please follow the link to register.

2/21- WHITE COUNTY

COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Available! February 21, 2021- Carmi White County (Pfizer)

Who Can Make an Appointment: Any resident who lives and/or works in Saline, Gallatin and White counties is eligible under Phase 1a or Phase 1b of the State vaccination plan, including anyone age 65 and older. (Please note: persons aged 16-64 with underlying medical conditions fall under phase 1b part 2 and will become eligible to receive the vaccine on 2/25/2021). The phases are detailed in the State Mass Vaccination Plan at https://www.dph.illinois.gov/covid19/vaccination-plan.

Ineligible persons will be turned away at the clinic.
