
Deputy Sheriff Randy Graves will fill the shoes of retiring White County Sheriff Doug Maier on March 1 for the remainder of Maier's term.
The Republican Central Committee last night voted to appoint White County Deputy Sheriff Randy Graves to finish the term of retiring Sheriff Doug Maier. Maier addressed the group stating he had served in law enforcement for 39 years and 18 of those had been serving as White County Sheriff. He asked the Committee to consider appointing Graves, citing Graves' long record and variety of service, to finish out his term, which expires in December 2022.
