Dale Allan “W9DAB” Broadway, 56, of Norris City, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Galesburg, Ill. on August 15, 1961 the son of Everett Dale and Nancy (Joyce) Broadway. Dale married Carmen Bond on August 23, 1986. He had worked as a welder, paramedic at Miller’s Ambulance in Eldorado, supervisor at Galatia Ambulance and a pastor at the Norris City General Baptist Church in Norris City. Dale was a Ham Radio operator and a member of the HF Blackbirds of Benton, Ill.
Dale is survived by his wife Carmen Broadway of Gulf Shores, Ala.; two sons, Cody (Kristen) Broadway of Loves Park, Ill. and Denver (Cari) Broadway of Evansville, Ind.; daughter, Breanna Broadway, Gulf Shores, Ala.; mother, Nancy (Dave) Briscoe, of Norris City; brother, Doug (Lisa) Broadway of Olympia, Wash.; three sisters, Tonya (Brent) Pearce, of Norris City, Lori (Henry) Gross of Omaha and Shanon (John) Zinzilieta of Benton; father-in-law, Clarke Bond, of Norris City; seven grandchildren, Gavin Lytle (9), Ella Hill (6), Asher (3), River (2), Sawyer (1), Carden (4) and Aria (1) Broadway and numerous nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his father Everett Dale Broadway, three infant brothers, Dion, Allan and Dale Broadway and his mother-in-law, Linda Bond.
Graveside service for Dale Broadway, 56, of Norris City will be held at 10:30 a.m on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Cottonwood.
