Central Air Conditioning Unit Reported Stolen in Mills Shoals

A central air conditioning unit was reported missing on Tuesday from a mobile home belonging to a Beecher City, Ill. man.Lance F. Molt told the White County Sheriff’s Department he had recently purchased the home located at 1091 E. Liberty St. in Mill Shoals and was in the process of moving the trailer. He found the air conditioning unit missing on December 20. Molt said the last time he was certain the unit was still attached to the trailer was three weeks prior to that date. Molt told police he had talked to a neighbor who said he had not seen anyone remove the unit. Molt's insurance company told him he needed to report the theft to the police. A report was placed on file at the White County Sheriff’s Department.
